Another three persons have been infected with COVID-19 after 998 tests were conducted over a 24 hours period, the Ministry of Health on Tuesday reported.
The new cases take the overall of confirmed cases in Guyana since March 2020 to 71,548.
Four patients remain in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit while five patients are in institutional isolation and 86 patients are in home isolation.
A total of 70, 170 patients have recovered and 1,283 deaths were recorded.
