A 22-year-old cyclist was caught with 14.8 grammes of marijuana on Thursday by police officers who were at the western end of the Demerara Harbour Bridge.
The cyclist from Parfait Harmonie, West Bank Demerara (WCD), was arrested and escorted to the La Grange Police Station where he was placed into custody.
The suspected cannabis was then weighed in his presence which amounted to 14.8 grammes. He is presently in custody assisting with the investigation.
