As the Petra Organisation’s MVP Sports Futsal tournament heads to a climax, Luminous Automotive and Motors has joined the group as a partner, presenting two spanking new motorbikes as prizes.

On Tuesday at the company’s North Road location in the city, CEO Eron Baptiste presented the keys to the bikes to Co-Director of the Petra Organisation, Troy Mendonca.

The Most Valuable Player of the Male segment of the tournament and a lucky fan will ride off with the bikes on the night of the final.

Mendonca said the Organisation is happy to have Luminous Automotive and Motors onboard, noting that the contribution of the company will add value to the tournament.

Baptiste said his team at Luminous Automotive and Motors worked overtime to get the bikes ready to be presented, noting that it is a “pleasure” to support the work of the Petra Organisation.

The tournament, which was put on a brief pause to facilitate the staging of the Inter-Guiana Games last weekend, will resume on December 3 with semi-final action in both the Male and Female divisions.

The females will kick off the action with Fruta Conquerors against GT Panthers and Police versus Tiger Bay, followed by the male semi-finals featuring Stabroek Ballers against Future Stars and Gold is Money versus Bent Street.

The champion team of the female tournament will receive $200,000, runner-up $100,000, third $50,000 and fourth $25,000.
