The reputed husband of Umadai Lall, the mother of one who was murdered last Friday, has been charged.
Jason Kellman, 44, of Hillfoot Soesdyke/Linden, was hauled before Principal Magistrate Judy Latchman at the Diamond/Grove Magistrate’s Court on December 6.
The welder was charged with the murder and was not required to plead. After being read the charge, he was remanded to prison until January 12, 2023.
According to the Police, Lall, who was also known as Samantha, 43, and Kellman had an altercation early on Friday morning at their Hillfoot Soesdyke/Linden residence.
The woman was rushed to the Diamond Diagnostic Centre, where she was pronounced dead.
Kellmam was arrested on December 2,2022 by a rank of Golden Grove Police Station.
