Two cousins, 11-year-old Sabreen Singh and 12-year-old Natoya Tina Boodhoo were Wednesday reported missing.
Sabreen was last seen in grey tights and an orange top, while Natoya was clad in a white romper with flower patterns.
The News Room understands that the girls were playing along Trench Road, Albouystown (in the vicinity of Jai Signs) when they vanished from sight.
Family members said surveillance cameras in the area reportedly caught the two girls running away from something around 17:00hrs on Tuesday. They were not seen or heard from since.
According to a relative, Singh who lives at Mocha, East Bank Demerara visited Boodhoo for the weekend.
Their families are pleading for anyone with information to contact 683-5474 and 6241540.
