A labourer identified as Rakesh Loojune is now dead after the tractor he was operating flipped and pinned him underneath on Thursday.
The News Room was informed that Loojune was ploughing a rice field at Wellington Park, Corentyne, Berbice when the tractor flipped over.
The accident occurred at about 12:00hrs on Thursday, the Police confirmed.

How sad for Me. Loojune and his family who are now all plunged into deep sorrow. Who could have told the deceased that he would have been days away from Christmas in this world. My condolences goes out to them.
