Region Nine kept a perfect record in the One Guyana President’s Cup as they defeated Region Eight 3-0 when action continued at the National Track and Field Facility, West Coast Demerara, on Friday evening.
After a goal fest in their opening encounter with Region Six, which they win 5-4 in thrilling fashion, they managed to keep a clean sheet against the lads from Potaro – Siparuni.

Matches continue on Sunday at the Track and Field Facility, with Region Two against the ENet-sponsored Region Ten from 18:00h followed by Region Four and Eight from 20:30h.
Apart from the $2M up for grabs for the winner, each will be awarded $200,000 for a win.
The second-place team will get $1M and third $500,000.
