Senior Bodybuilding Championships get support from Sport Ministry

The Guyana Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation (GBBFF) has gotten support from the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport for their Senior Championships which will be staged at the National Cultural Centre on Sunday.

According to a release from the Federation, after a meeting with Minister Charles Ramson Jr. and Chairman of the National Sports Commission, Kashif Muhammad, a commitment was made to offer support to the event.

“In addition to the formalities of welcoming the Ministry on board, the bodybuilding federation and its athletes also had fruitful engagements with the Minister and Chairman of the NSC. Among the talking points were the issue of sponsorship and plans for CAC 2024”, the release explained.

The Federation expressed thanks to the Ministry for their unwavering support and is looking forward to further dialogue.

The championship is scheduled to start at 18:30h and tickets cost $2,500.
