A boat captain died on Friday after the boat he was sailing along the Moruca River, in Region One, collided with another boat.
Regional Commander, Senior Superintendent Himnauth Sawh told the News Room that the incident occurred at 13:30 hrs while the two boats were sailing in the vicinity of Mora Village.
The commander said the body of the captain is currently at the Moruca morgue. Police ranks in the sub-district are on the scene carrying out an investigation.
