A logger of Riverstown Sand in Region Two (Pomeroon-Supenaam) is appealing to the public to help him locate his five children who were reportedly taken away from him by his reputed wife.

Kawall (only name given) told the News Room that he returned from the interior on December 23, 2022, at around 11:00hrs to a locked door and empty house.

Kawall claimed that he broke the lock to gain entry when he noticed that his wife and children were not there; his silver Spacio car, all groceries, ducks and chickens were also missing.

The man said he has made numerous unsuccessful calls to his reputed wife’s cellphone. According to Kawall, he and the woman have been living together for some 11 years; he claimed they had no prior issues and so, he remains in shock that she has since left without telling him.

Worried about his children, the man lodged a report at the Suddie Police Station.

Kawall told the News Room that to date, the police have not assisted him in locating his children; he also reported the matter at the Welfare Department at Anna Regina.

“I want my five children to return, they have to attend school and I want my vehicle back. I need contact urgently with my family. My wife and I never had an issue in the past. This is quite shocking for me,” a desperate Kawall related.

Anyone with information can make contact with Kawall on telephone number 681-3456.
