Ryan Henry, 18, a porter of Log Hill, Baramita in the North West District was reportedly stabbed to his abdomen and subsequently died on Monday.
A statement from Police Headquarters revealed that Henry was taken to the Baramita Health Centre by public-spirited persons at about 03:15hrs after he was stabbed.
Police said the young man died at about 06:25hrs while receiving treatment.
The prime suspect has been arrested.
Further investigations are ongoing.
