Leon Johnson, captain of the Guyana Harpy Eagles, and experienced fast-bowler, Keon Joseph, have been included in the final Guyana Harpy Eagles practice match that starts January 18 at the National Stadium, Providence from 09:30h.

Johnson missed the previous match due to a slight niggle while Joseph, who last represented the Eagles at the First-Class level in 2020, returns from T20 cricket in Nepal.

Batting will be under the radar, as apart from Kemol Savory and Matthew Nandu, who got a respective hundred and half-century, other batsmen did not cash in on the starts.

The onus will be on the fringe players to impress in this final match given the numerous spots up for the taking as several senior players will be absent from the opening rounds of the Regional Four-Day due to overseas commitments.

February 1 will mark the start of the Regional Four-Day season with the Eagles in action against defending champions, Barbados Pride, in Antigua after which they travel to Grenada to face Windward Volcanoes from February 8.

Kemol Savory was in fine form during the first practice match
