A family outing took a turn for the worst when two women went missing Sunday afternoon.
Relatives were gathered at Feather Beach in Region Two when an alarm was raised that the women could not be found.
After hours of searching one of the women was found and subsequently the other was located submerged in the water.
Dead are Kaywattie Lallbacchan, 25, and Akeesha Tyrel, 24, of Richmond and Anna Regina, respectively.
They were rushed to the Suddie Public Hospital and were both pronounced dead.
