City Vibes Bar owner arrested with $3.5M in ganja
The owner of City Vibes Sports Bar, 45-year-old Clyde Anthony Barret known as “Clivey” was arrested on Wednesday with some 11.58 kg of marijuana worth approximately $3.5 million.
Ranks of the Customs Anti Narcotic Unit (CANU) intercepted the businessman along Avenue of the Republic in the vicinity of City Hall.
“A subsequent search of the said vehicle revealed a salt bag containing several parcels of suspected cannabis,” CANU said in a statement.
Barrett of Calendar Street, Albouystown was arrested and escorted to CANU’s Headquarters along with the suspected narcotic, which tested positive for cannabis.
Investigations are ongoing.
