Two alleged gang members remanded for wounding Linden teen

Two men, who the police accused of being part of a gang operating notoriously in Linden were charged and remanded to prison on Thursday for the unlawful wounding of 19-year-old Dwayne Mitchell, a miner of Wisroc, Linden.

Thirty-six-year-old Travis Hazel called “Fifty” of Silver City, Wismar and Royston Hilliman, 48, of Central Amelia’s Ward, appeared before Magistrate Wanda Fortune at the Linden Magistrate’s Court, according to a press release from Police Headquarters.

It is alleged that the two men wounded the teenager on December 26, 2022.

They were not required to plea to the charge and were remanded to prison until March 9, 2023.
