Campbelle topscores, but West Indies Women lose warm-up to New Zealand

West Indies Women lost their World T20 warm-up game to New Zealand by 32 runs in Cape Town on Monday. The 2016 champions were restricted to 91-7 from 20 overs, after being set a target of 124.

Shemaine Campbelle topscored for West Indies with 26, Chinelle Henry made 23 and opener Hayley Matthews scored 15.

Amelia Kerr took 3-20 for New Zealand, who earlier made 123-5 with Maddy Green making 47 not out and Suzie Bates 30.

West Indies Women play a second warm-up game on Wednesday against Sri Lanka Women, starting at 08:30h in Cape Town.
