Williams, Duke top Mighty Malt Fitness Challenge 2023

A total of 50 male and female athletes, about a dozen of whom came from Suriname, participated in the seventh Mighty Malt Fitness Challenge, staged by the Guyana Fitness Games on Sunday in the National Park.

At the end of several gruelling challenges, it was Omisi Williams and Semonica Duke who emerged the fittest, winning the Elite Men and Women titles respectively.

They both carted off G$500,000 each, along with the champion’s trophy.

In the Teens competition, Vladimir Woodroffe won the Boys division and Oshelle Williams the Girls category, both pocketing G$50,000 each.

Masimba Williams and Melissa Stewart were the top Masters Men and Women respectively, each copping G$100,000.
