The Guyana Tourism Authority (GTA) is hoping to push local tourism products in the United States of America (USA) and Canada and as such, the entity is seeking proposals on market representation services from experienced agencies.

The company selected will be expected to provide those services for 24 months, according to the GTA’s Request for Proposal that was published in the Stabroek News on Tuesday.

Importantly, it was noted that proposals for each market must be treated separately. Specifically, the agencies will be responsible for continuing awareness efforts on Guyana as a nature, adventure and culturally-based sustainable destination on the global market.

The services provided are also expected to increase leisure and business travel from source and investment markets, generate sales and investment opportunities for local businesses and support collaboration and information sharing among stakeholders.

The GTA also said that proposals should include the company’s profile, capabilities and experience in providing these services.

All proposals should be submitted no later than April 6 at 09:00 hrs. Inquiries are welcome up to March 28.

The full call for proposals for each market can be downloaded from: https://bit.ly/3ZRLKLZ
