A 54-year-old weeder was on Wednesday released on $2,000 bail for allegedly abusing a Policewoman.
Shawn Tucker of Block ‘E’ Sophia, appeared before Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court where he pleaded not guilty to the charge.
It is alleged that on March 8, 2023, at Block ‘E’, he abused woman constable Adams with the intent to embarrass or annoy her.
The State Prosecutor did not present the facts of the case to the court; Tucker, however, asked the court to be released on reasonable bail.
The Chief Magistrate granted Tucker $2,000 bail and adjourned the matter to March 23, 2023.
