Demerara lifted the Guyana Cricket Board’s Inter-County Four-Day title after thrashing Essequibo by an innings and 63 runs on the final day of the competition on Wednesday in Georgetown.
A rain-affected game saw the entire day three and a large portion of day two washed out, but Demerara made up for lost time with a dominant bowling display on the final day to secure victory and the title.
