Senior journalist attached to the News Room, Vishani Ragobeer, is among three persons from Latin America and the Caribbean who were selected by the Indian Government to attend a one-week familiarization tour of India.

Theresa Gordon, a journalist and news producer from NEWSCO Limited (OBSERVER Group), Antigua & Barbuda and Adelcia Connor-Ferlance, Press Secretary within the Office of the Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, have joined Ragobeer on the programme.

A press release from the Indian High Commission in India noted that this programme is expected to give them a range of experience and interaction with the political, economic and business, cultural, educational and media sectoral leadership, as well as exposure to modern India as a whole.

Ragobeer is a University of the West Indies (UWI) graduate who has been in the employ of the News Room since May 2021, covering Oil and Gas, Education, Health, Politics and Climate Change issues.
