Sheltez Tennis Camp gains support of P&P Insurance

P&P Insurance Brokers and Consultants Limited has sponsored the Easter Tennis Camp hosted by the Sheltez Tennis Club.

The camp, which commences April 3, will run for two weeks.

According to a release from the Insurance Brokers, they have been a longstanding supporter of sports development in general in Guyana and has been supporting tennis camps since 2005.

The initiative of the camp is to bring awareness of the sport at the grass root level, allowing young children to learn the game of tennis in a fun but progressive way.

Current junior players also get the opportunity to hone their skills for international competitions.

At a simple ceremony at P&P’s corporate office on Lamaha Street, President of the Sheltez Tennis Club, Shelly Daly met with representatives of P&P for the handover ceremony.

Daly expressed her gratitude to the company for their unwavering support to the game of tennis and the camp.

Vikash Panday, Executive Director of P&P Insurance Brokers, noted that P&P was very happy to continue its commitment to tennis in Guyana and wished Daly every success for the camp.
