A pastor has been killed after his Williamsburg, Corentyne home went up in flames Thursday morning.
Dead is Herman Pereira, a pastor and businessman.
Firefighters are still trying to determine how the fire started.
The News Room understands that the elderly man was trapped inside the house. His body was pulled from the rubble after firefighters managed to contain the blaze.
