A 17-year-old labourer of Abary Creek, Mahaicony, East Coast Demerara, is currently hospitalised at the New Amsterdam Hospital after he was stabbed in the abdomen by a man known to him.
The News Room understands that Christopher Felix is in serious condition; the incident occurred on April 9, 2023, at about 03:20 hrs at Mohamed’s Snackette at Bath Settlement, West Coast Berbice.
The victim told the Police that he was approached by the suspect named ‘Kevin’ who stabbed him with a black handle knife before escaping.
Felix was rushed to the Fort Wellington Hospital and was subsequently transferred to the New Amsterdam Hospital where he remains a patient. The suspect is yet to be apprehended.
