Albouystown DJ Malcolm ‘Mr Wickedee’ Ferreira joins the PPP

DJ Malcolm Ferreira, popularly known by his radio DJ name “Mr Wickedee” has joined the ruling People’s Progressive Party (PPP) and was seen with party executives and supporters on the way to submit the party’s list of candidates for the upcoming Local Government elections.

Ferreira is from Albouystown, Georgetown, one of the communities earmarked for significant improvement under the current government.

Seeing the effects of drug addiction on his community, Ferreira has used his voice on the radio, and in other ways, to campaign against drug abuse.

Albouystown is currently undergoing a multi-billion dollar facelift with the development of the 1.8-kilometre Independence Boulevard, stretching from Saffon Street to Cemetery Road, Georgetown.
