Karasabai farmer dies after losing control of motorcycle

A 57-year-old farmer was killed on Sunday after he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into a bridge at Shiwan Access Road, South Pakaraima, Region Nine.

Dead is Mikey Francisco of Karasabai Village, South Pakaraima. He was returning home from work when the accident occurred at around 20:50hrs.

Francisco was riding a Brazilian registered motorcycle bearing registration number NAR 8584.

The News Room was reliably informed that the victim’s daughter told the Police that the motorcycle lights were not working and so Francisco was using a torch light in his hand.

As a result of the accident, Francisco fell into a nearby creek and onto rocks in the river.

When he did not return home, relatives mounted a search and found his body at around 13:45 hrs Monday.
