An accident between two motorcycles on the Timehri public road, East Bank Demerara on Saturday night has resulted in the death of  two men.

They have been identified as 20-year-old Romeo Reid and 31-year-old Leonardo Reevers.

Police Headquarters revealed that the head-on collision between the two motorcyclists occurred at around 21:30 hrs.

It was noted that Reid of Hyde Park, Timehri was driving CJ 7405 (black in colour) while Reevers of Sarah Johanna, EBD, was driving CG 9504 (red in colour).

They were all picked up by the Police and public-spirited citizens in an unconscious condition and escorted to the Diamond Diagnostic Centre where the two motorcyclists died while receiving treatment.

The pillion rider was admitted in a stable condition.
