Three men, including a teenager, were each granted $300,000 bail on Tuesday after they were charged jointly for armed robbery.
They are Vickram Chunilall, 18, of Mon Repos Squatting Area, East Coast Demerara; Mahendra Ramsammy, 22, and and Shamroy Abrams, 21, both construction workers of Good Hope, ECD.
The trio appeared before Magistrate Alisha George at the Sparandaam Magistrate’s Court where they pleaded not guilty to the charge and was granted bail.
Police did not provide any details about the robbery.
However, they noted that the accused were arrested on May 14. The matter was adjourned to June 20, 2023.
