An elite team of Guyanese bodybuilding and fitness athletes is representing the country at the Roger Boyce International Federation of BodyBuilding and Fitness (IFBB) Pro Classic in Barbados. The event started on June 1 and will run until June 4.
At the professional level, Guyana will be represented by Pro Athlete Rosanna Fung, while at the amateur level, reigning ‘Mr. Guyana’ Darious Ramsammy, CAC gold medalist Julio Sinclair and CAC silver medallists Nicolas Albert and Christina Ramsammy will carry the flag.
According to a release from the Guyana Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation, Fung will compete in the Women’s Wellness category, while D. Ramsammy and Albert will both compete in the Men’s bodybuilding category up to and including 80kg.
Sinclair will compete in the heavier category at over 90kg and C. Ramsammy will compete in the Miss Bikini category in the over 164 cm group.
