Investigators are probing the death of a man whose body was discovered in his Regent and Cumming’s Street, Georgetown apartment on Monday.

The dead man has been identified as Dimitri Deonauth.

Reports are that Deonauth was last seen alive on Saturday.

The discovery was made by his father, who is a well-known city businessman, who had reportedly gone and check on him.

The News Room spoke with a security guard who related that the dead man’s father alerted persons in the area on Monday morning that his son fell and hit his head.

The Police were summoned and Deonauth was pronounced dead at the scene.

His body reportedly bore several marks of violence, including around his neck.

However, Police are awaiting an autopsy to determine how Deonauth met his demise.
