An Onderneeming, Essequibo Coast family is mourning the death of a 13-year-old boy who fell off a canter and was crushed to death on Monday evening.
Dead is Mark Williams. The News Room understands that the driver of the vehicle, a businessman, is in Police custody.
It is alleged that the businessman was reversing the canter with the child standing in the tray, during which he fell out.
Reports indicate that the driver continued to reverse the vehicle and crushed the young man.
He was rushed to the Suddie Public Hospital where he died.
The child was employed by the businessman.
