A man accused of assaulting his girlfriend appeared at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court on Friday before Senior Magistrate, Leron Daly.
Abraham Hamilton pleaded not guilty to the charge which alleged that on May 22, 2023, at Meadow Brook, Squatting Area, Georgetown, he unlawfully and maliciously inflicted grievous bodily harm on Shanice Sampson.
Bail was rejected and the accused was remanded to prison. He is expected to make his next court appearance on July 21, 2023.
