An accident involving a motorcycle on Monday resulted in the death of two men, both of No.60 Village, Upper Corentyne, Berbice.
Dead are Harrynarine Ramnauth, 38 and Roano Rajpaul, 17. A post-mortem examination conducted on the bodies revealed that they died from multiple injuries.
The News Room understands that the motorcyclist and the pillion rider were speeding on CM 1594 when they lost control while trying to negotiate a turn at No. 68 Village.
They collided with a signboard and a concrete bus shed. It is unclear who was riding the motorcycle at the time of the accident.
They were both pronounced dead at the Skeldon Public Hospital.
