In the four matches contested thus far, the star-studded Guyana Under-19 team, has only one win at the Regional Under-19 50-Over tournament in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

The latest result is a six-wicket defeat to Trinidad and Tobago on Monday as inconsistency in batting continued.

Guyana U-19 posted 146 all out from 40.1 overs, led by Thaddeus Lovell (33), Shamar Yearwood (29), Rivaldo Phillips (20), Mavindra Dindyal (18), and Rampertab Ramnauth (16).

Andrew Rambarran starred with 4-27, while Ronilister Pereira chipped in with 3-8.

In reply, Kyle Ramdoo (37) and ]ustin Jaggesar (31) laid a solid foundation Kyle Ramdoo and Rajeev Ramnath (21) led the run chase, but the rain stalled action with Trinidad needing just 11 runs.

Jeremy Sandia was consistent for another game, grabbing 2-35 from his ten overs.

Guyana defeated Barbados by 54 runs on DLS, while they lost the opening match to Leeward Islands.

Guyana will face Windward Islands in their final match on July 12.
