    President’s College will make a third consecutive appearance in the Under 18 final of the ExxonMobil National School Basketball Festival after they defeated St. Stanislaus College 32-30 at the National Gymnasium.

    President’s College will face the formidable Kwakwani Secondary, which topped the Government Technical Institute 39-30.

    Judah Ferreira led the way for President’s College with nine points, along with Aiden Semple with eight points, three rebounds, and three steals, while Brandon McKoy soared with 15 points and four steals for Saints.

    On the other hand, the lads from Region Ten will be eying a seventh senior boys title.

    With 21 points, four rebounds, and four steals, Kasim English led the game-high and got support from Kelon Phillips (five points and six rebounds), while Martin Edwards had 10 points and 13 rebounds for GTI.

    The 2023 championship games in the senior boys and girls divisions are set for Sunday, July 16 at the National Gymnasium on Mandela Avenue.

    ExxonMobil is the title sponsor for this year’s National School Basketball Festival, with support from National Sports Commission, Edward B Beharry Ltd, and G-Boats GY.
