Security Guard dies in accident at Wales
Motorcyclist Immanuel Lamazon lost his life Monday night in an accident on the Wales Public Road, West Bank Demerara.
He worked as a Security Guard at Elite Security Service and lived at Independence Street, La Grange, West Bank Demerara.
A statement from Police Headquarters noted that Lamazon was speeding along the western side of the Wales Public Road when he lost control of the bike, collided with a light pole, and eventually ended up in a trench alongside the road.
He was picked up by public-spirited persons and the Police and taken to the West Demerara Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead by a doctor on duty.
His body was then escorted to Ezekiel Funeral Home for storage and now awaits a Post-Mortem Examination.
Further investigations are ongoing.
