Family in relentless search for man last seen four years ago

A West Coast Berbice (WCB) man has not been seen or heard from by his family for the last four years.

Lyndon Usher called ‘Mondo’ or ‘Shaggy’, a father of two of Number 30 Village, WCB, left home to ply his trade as a mason in Lethem, Region Nine in 2019.

He was reportedly accompanied by a cousin.

In an interview with the News Room on Saturday, the missing man’s relative, Oceina Isaacs said after time passed and the family did not hear from Usher neither did he return home, they became worried.

As such, she said they made several checks and calls but were unable to locate him.

Isaacs said upon enquiring, the cousin he left home and went to Region Nine with claimed that Usher left the worksite and never returned.

He also said that Usher did not inform him where he was going.

“From then to now we haven’t heard nothing. The family is very concern we want to know his whereabouts,” Isaacs said.

She added, “we try looking but we can’t find him”.

A missing person report was made to the Police.

Isaacs said the family is hopeful that Usher is safe.

And they are pleading with anyone who may have seen him to contact them so that he can be located.

“We just want to locate him…If anybody saw him, if they could at least let us know that he is okay,” Isaacs pleaded.
