A 58- year-old man and well-known tailor of Perseverance Village, Region Two tragically lost his life on Saturday after he fell from his E-Bike and hit his head on the road’s surface.
Dead is Lochan Sookdeo; he was heading to work at Jagmohan’s wharf at about 17: 00 hrs where he also works as a security guard.
The man was picked up in an unconscious state with blood oozing from his nose. He was taken to the Suddie Public Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
His wife Pamo Sookdeo said that he left for work after sewing the entire day. The family received a call around 17:30 hours from a resident stating that he fell. The family said it was really shocking because he was in high spirits earlier in the day.
Sookdeo’s body is currently at the Suddie Mortuary. He was the father of two children.
