National Under-17 cricketer, Jonathan Van Lange, is the new Brand Ambassador for Leading Edge Sports through their CB 90 gear.
National cricketer Christopher Barnwell owns the store, located at Regent Multiplex Mall at Regent and Wellington Street.
At the simple ceremony, Van Lange, who will captain the Under-17s at the Regional tournament in Trinidad and Tobago, expressed gratitude for the opportunity and vowed to be an “excellent ambassador on and off of the field.”
Barnwell was elated to support his clubmate at the Demerara Cricket Club and further stressed that discipline and hard work are key to any athlete’s success.
He sees Van Lange as the perfect representation of such and encouraged him to stay grounded as he excels in the sport.
