With the aim of making a historic three-peat, Guyana’s senior squash players will head off to the Cayman Islands for the Senior Caribbean Area Squash Association (Senior CASA), from August 20-26.
Guyana made a successful defence of their title last year in Jamaica, with dominant performances of both the Men and Women’s teams.
At a simple ceremony on Thursday afternoon at the Georgetown Club, representatives of a few of the sponsors were present to wish the players well on their journey to claiming a third straight title.
Team Guyana is sponsored by ENet, Ansa McAL Trading, Republic Bank, Cage Guyana Inc., Guyana Olympic Association and the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport.
What they said

Dwayne Dodson, General Manager, Cage Guyana Inc.: “Our slogan is ‘Be a winner with Cage’, and what better way to support a winning team than from a winning company. We are always looking for opportunities to support our corporate social responsibility, and as we got the invitation to come onboard, there was no doubt this is something we want to be part of.”
Denita Prowell, Corporate Communication Officer, Ansa McAl: “We’re thrilled to be a part of such an initiative and we want to wish you all the best as you embark on this journey to retain the regional championship. As an organisation, we take immense pride in our corporate social responsibility and we just want to encourage you to continue doing what you do.”
