Multiple Caribbean Airlines flights canceled

(GUARDIAN MEDIA)- Hundreds of passengers arriving at Piarco International Airport hoping to board a flight were left disappointed this morning as the were greeted with news of cancelations.

Guardian Media understands from passengers at the airport, they were told a severe staff shortage at Caribbean Airlines is to blame. So far there has been no announcement from Caribbean Airlines themselves.

Guardian Media can confirm flights to Tobago, Orlando, Miami, St Lucia, Guyana, Ft Lauderdale have all been canceled.

    BWIA was using the BW before their flight number. They changed the company name to Caribbean Airlines Limited ( CAL) to cut more corners and save money. Why didn’t they also change the BW for CA or CAL to their flight number ? I believe they were not allowed to do that by the Washington.
    Guyanese and others who used this airline in the past, have not yet learned a lesson- CAL only interested in their money, they are just a number for money grabbing.
