LG Electronics’ President for Latin America, Keepyo Eom and local distributor, Platinum Sales and Services CEO Mahendra Boodhoo met with President Dr. Irfaan Ali in Georgetown on Wednesday where discussions were held on possible cooperation for advancing innovative technology.
Eom was updated by President Ali on the current growth and transformation of Guyana.
Dr. Ali and Mr. Eom also explored how LG and Guyana can achieve mutual growth through areas like education.
The News Room was told that LG also expressed an interest in learning more about the government’s vision for Guyana in the areas of energy efficiency.
In providing an overview, Dr. Ali implored Eom and his visiting delegation to also focus on value added by expanding its operations in Guyana beyond finished products and trading.

Eom is visiting Guyana with a delegation of regional executives. They were part of the meeting along with Junior Minister of Public Works Deodat Indar and Chief Executive Officer of Platinum Sales and Services, Mahendra Boodhoo.
Platinum Sales and Services is an authorized distributor for LG Products in Guyana, offering a Service Center and Warranty Support on LG products.
