The 36-year-old of Meadow Brook, Squatting Area, Georgetown, appeared at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court before Magistrate Rhondell Weever to answer to the charge.

It is alleged that on August 15, at Meadow Brook, Squatting Area, Thompson had in his possession 730 grams of cannabis for the purpose of trafficking.

The defendant pleaded not guilty to the charge.
