Carlos Brathwaite, who famously batted West Indies to a T20 World Cup title in 2016 by hitting four consecutive sixes off Ben Stokes, has been drafted by the Barbados Royals as a “temporary replacement” for South African Donovan Ferreira.
This was announced by CPL on Wednesday. Two other changes have been made- to the St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots squad- as two of their high-profile overseas players have left the tournament.

Carlos Brathwaite will join the Barbados Royals as a temporary replacement for Donovan Ferreira who has been called up by South Africa for international duties.
English players Benny Howell and Will Smeed will be joining the St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots. They will be replacing Blessing Muzarabani and Ambati Rayudu who have left the tournament to deal with personal matters.
