Police releases names of road users with multiple speeding violations in the last 3 months on New Eccles/Mandela Highway

Over 10,000 speeding violations were recorded in the last three months and the Police Force has moved to release the names of 100 persons with multiple speeding violations as it is taking strict action against reckless road users.

The Guyana Police Force embarked on a new initiative, using technology to curb road carnage and the increase in road deaths caused by reckless driving using frequent and robust traffic enforcement exercises across Guyana. There will be zero tolerance for traffic offenders, and more persons will be placed before the courts once they break the Traffic Laws.

Following is a list of road users with multiple speeding violation in the last 90 days:

    The police are acting as accomplices. These people/speeders/violators all need be pulled off the roads, their driving licenses cancelled and their vehicles seized.
