CPL 2023: Cricket meets hospitality in ‘One Guyana Posse Stand’

Pioneered by former National Cricketer Lennox Cush and businessman Fazil Mirza, the ‘One Guyana Posse Stand’ offers the luxury of comfortable viewing, fine cuisine and drinks during the Caribbean Premier League matches at the National Stadium, Providence.

Nestled between the Orange Stand and the main scoreboard, the ‘One Guyana Posse Stand’ is geared to bring the real Guyanese vibes to the ‘Biggest Party in Sport.’

“I can personally testify that T20 is a fast-paced game, and we wanted to create an atmosphere where patrons can focus on the action on the field and not worry where their next drink is coming from or next meal,” Cush told News Room Sport.

The idea is to “sit back, relax and just watch cricket,” Cush further explained.

The vibes are in the ‘One Guyana Posse’ Stand

“Guyana is moving in the right direction, and we must begin to develop the right atmosphere and culture regarding hospitality.”

The businessman added: “This is just the start for us and our mission to make cricket and entertainment as hospitable as it can be for patrons.”

The Stand was opened for the first time during the Guyana Amazon Warriors/Jamaica Tallawahs game on Wednesday evening, and Cush noted that it was a huge success.

“We will have lots more in store next year,” he promised.

Tickets for the final (September 24) and Guyana Amazon Warriors v Trinbago Knight Riders (September 16) have been sold out.

Tickets for Warriors games against St. Lucia Kings on September 14 and Barbados Royals on September 17 cost US$150, while tickets for the three playoff matches are US$230 each.

Persons interested in purchasing tickets can contact Fazil on +592-𝟔𝟏𝟒-𝟓𝟕𝟕𝟒 or Cush on +592-𝟔𝟏𝟔-𝟕𝟏𝟎𝟗.
