Teenager arrested with illegal gun

Police have arrested an 18-year-old man following the discovery of an illegal firearm in a kitchen of a Berbice, Region Six house.
According to a Police report, at around 07:30hrs, ranks acting on information received, went to a house at No. 67 Village, Corentyne, Berbice.
A search was conducted during which a .32 pistol with no matching round of ammunition was discovered on a table in the kitchen.
The teenager was taken into custody and is assisting with the investigation.
