The Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Climate Envoy of Saudi Arabia, Adel Al-Jubeir is visiting Guyana today (Wednesday) for talks with President Dr. Irfaan Ali.
Dr. Ali made the announcement while addressing the Ariwa, Region Nine, Heritage Month celebrations on Wednesday.
The News Room understands that the Foreign Minister will be visiting for one day.
Mr. Al-Jubeir visited Guyana in February last year. He and President Ali engaged in wide-ranging talks focused on deepening bilateral relations between Guyana and Saudi Arabia.
Guyana established formal diplomatic relations with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on February 22, 2012.
