Five months later, four charged for wounding man

Trevor Carter was assaulted by four men on April 9, 2023, at Capoey Mission, Region 2, and five months later, the suspects are being charged for unlawful wounds.

Those charged are:

** Sanchus Clarke, a 25-year-old labourer

** Eon James, a 28-year-old chainsaw operator

** Curt Hendricks, a 22-year-old unemployed man

** Andy Hendricks, a 26-year-old labourer

Curt, Andy and Eon appeared at the Anna Regina Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, before Magistrate Esther Sam, where the charge was read to them and they pleaded not guilty.

Each man was granted $50,000 bail while an arrest warrant was issued for Sanchus.

The case was adjourned to October 18, 2023.
