A man from Charity Housing Scheme, Essequibo Coast, was on Monday charged with escaping lawful custody and sentenced to 12 months imprisonment.
Police Headquarters on Wednesday said Collis Goodluck, 21, escaped from the Charity Police Station on January 21, 2023.
He was recaptured recently and appeared virtually from prison before Magistrate Esther Sam at the Charity Magistrate’s Court.
